DentalRobot Inc (“DentalRobot” or “we”) respects your privacy, which is why we are providing this Privacy Policy to explain what information we collect about you when you visit our website (www.dentalrobot.co), purchase or install any of our robotic process automation products or services, or otherwise interact with us or any of our affiliates (the “Services”). This Policy also explains what we do with the information we collect and how you can access and control your personal information.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will handle it. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the Services. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time or at any time, and we will communicate such changes by posting a notice to the Services or via email. Your continued use of the Services after such changes are effective is your acceptance of those changes, so please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates.

Patient Information

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information our clients (e.g., dental offices) (“Providers”) collect about their patients. While DentalRobot’s robotic process automation technology may be used by Providers to process patients’ personal information (“Patients’ Data”), DentalRobot does not collect, receive, or otherwise disclose Patients’ Data. Patients’ Data is subject to the Providers’ privacy policy. Providers, and not DentalRobot, are responsible for obtaining any required consents from patients for the use of Patients’ Data, including obtaining any required consents to communicate with patients via email, SMS or text messages. If a Provider contacts a patient using DentalRobot’s robotic process automation technology, the patient may opt-out from receiving emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email, and the patient may opt-out from receiving text messages by sending “STOP” in response to such text message. We are not responsible for any personal health information a patient or a Provider may transmit through our products and services. Patients should contact their Provider to access and update their personal health information.

Information We Collect

When you access, use, or interact with the Services, DentalRobot may collect several types of information from you, including:

  • Individually identifying information, including contact information, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, and any other identifying information you choose to share with us.
  • Payment information, such as credit card number or bank account number.
  • collect information from the Services using any automated software tool or manually on a mass basis;
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as time of visit and geolocation data, the webpages you visited, links clicked, emails opened, language preferences, and the pages that led or referred you to our Services. We may also collect information automatically from your device, such as device type, operating system and Internet browser type, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, plug-ins, and add-ons.
  • Commercial information, such as information about the products or services you have purchased, obtained, or considered from us.
  • Professional or employment-related information, such as your title, manager, company, or business website.

If you have downloaded, installed, or used any of our robotic process automation technology, you authorize us to collect non-personally identifiable statistical and usage information about the DentalRobot products and services installed on your networks, systems, computers, and other devices.

DentalRobot collects information about you from several sources:

  • You provide it to use directly. For example, if you contact us using any webform or via email, you will be required to provide us with your name and contact information. As another example, if you purchase or download any of the Services, you will need to provide us with contact information as well as payment information.
  • Our Services automatically collect some information from your computer or device. For example, we use cookies and web beacons on some of our Services to remember your preferences and monitor how you interact with our Services. A “cookie” is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. Your browser setting may allow you to refuse to accept browser cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Services, or our Services may not function optimally. “Web beacons” are small electronic files (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit DentalRobot, for example, to count the number of users who have visited website pages or opened an email, or to verify the security of our servers.

If you provide DentalRobot or our service providers with any personal information relating to other individuals, you represent that you have the authority to do so, and where required, have obtained the necessary consent, and acknowledge that it may be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Data Uses

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

  • To perform our contractual obligations to you. This includes but is not limited to providing you access to the Services; processing customer service requests; sending you account updates, expiration or renewal notices, order confirmations, and service updates; processing payment for your orders; performing our contractual obligations to you under our Terms of Use or any other agreement you have with us (e.g., Master Subscription Agreement); and providing you with access to the products and services you purchase from us.
  • For legitimate business interests which outweigh the general privacy rights of individual data subjects. This includes but is not limited to analyzing and improving our Services and business operations; ensuring the security and availability of the Services; and monitoring use of the Services to prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To comply with a legal obligation or requirement. We use and process your personal information when we believe doing so is necessary to comply with laws and regulations, pursuant to a judicial authorization, or to exercise or defend our legal rights or those of a third party.
  • With your consent. We process your personal information if we obtained your affirmative consent to such processing, such as to send you a newsletter, promotional offers, or other marketing communications that you requested, or to respond to inquiries and questions that you initiated.

If we need to process your personal information for a purpose other than that for which the information was initially collected, we will provide you with information about that other purpose before we further process your personal information.  

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your personal information with third parties:

  • With your consent. We share your personal information if you affirmatively consent to it. If we are legally obligated to obtain your consent prior to sharing your personal information, we notify you of the specific purpose for which we are obtaining your consent, and we do not share beyond that purpose without notifying you of and obtaining additional consent for further disclosure.
  • With third party service providers and agents. We share personal information with a limited number of service providers, for example, payment processors or cloud storage providers, who process it on our behalf to provide or improve our business functions, and who have agreed to privacy restrictions similar to the ones in our Privacy Policy by making similar commitments.
  • For legal disclosure. We may share your information with third parties, such as law enforcement or government agencies, when we reasonably believe disclosure is required or permitted in order to comply with a subpoena, court order or other applicable law, regulation or legal process.
  • To protect us or others. We may share your information to the extent we believe that sharing such information is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our products or services, our customers, or others.
  • As aggregate information. We may share certain aggregated and/or non-personally identifying information internally or with others for purposes of research, reporting, and benchmarking.
  • As a result of merger or sale of our business. We may share personal information if we are involved in a merger, sale, financing, liquidation, bankruptcy or acquisition of corporate entities or business units.

We do not sell any personal information for any reason.

Your Data Choices

We may need to verify your identity before complying with your request, which may require us to request additional personal information from you.  We will only use personal information provided in connection with a such a request to review and comply with the request. In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to access, correct, or delete personal information, for example, if we are unable to verify your identity.

In addition, you have the following options over specific types of personal information we may have collected about you:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. Your browser settings allow you to reject cookies or to alert you when cookies are set. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly. Also, like many other websites and online services, DentalRobot does not currently modify our practices when we receive Do Not Track signals as there is no consensus among industry participants as to what “Do Not Track” means in this context.   • Promotional Offers from DentalRobot. If you do not want us to use your personal information to provide you with promotional opportunities for our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out of such communication by contacting us at the Contact Information below. You may also click the unsubscribe link in any email you receive from us. Please note that even if you opt-out of promotional communications, we may still send you important information related to the Services or any transactions between you and DentalRobot.

Data Security

We work to protect information about you against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction, and take reasonable measures to do so. We also monitor our Services for potential vulnerabilities and attacks, and we use a variety of security technologies and organizational procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those personnel with a need to know in order to perform job duties for us. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Any personal information you transmit via the Services is at your own risk, and DentalRobot is not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Services.

Data Retention

We retain and use your personal information and the other information we collect about you for as long as needed to provide you the Services. We will retain and use this information for the purposes for which it was collected (as specified in this Privacy Policy or any other agreement you have with DentalRobot), including, to provide the Service to you, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request that we delete the information we have collected about you by contacting us using the Contact Information provided below.

Children’s Information

Our Services are not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on our Services or otherwise provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 18, please contact us through the contact information below.

Third Party Links

We may provide content on the Services that links to third-party websites. For example, we may post links to our social media profiles so you can find us easily. We do not control, and are not responsible for, third parties’ privacy practices and content. When you click on a link to a third-party site, the third party may collect your personal information, which will be governed by the third party’s privacy policy. Please read the third party’s privacy policy to learn about how they collect and process your personal information.

Notice of Changes

We will provide you with notice of changes to the way we process your Personal Information and will obtain your consent as required by applicable law. All changes are effective immediately upon posting a notice of such changes. Your continued access to or use of the Services following the posting of changes constitutes your acknowledgment of such changes.
